Hi....I’m Sneha Jaiswal. Born and bought up from a small city of Bihar called Katihar. I belong from a small family of four. My father, mother and one elder brother. My father is a film distributor by profession but he is also working as a promoter in a financial company. My mother is working as a teacher in government school. My brother has completed his BE from Rajasthan University and now he is working with HP software as a system support engineer. My family is my love, my life and everything for me. I’m thankful to god that I have been blessed with such a sweet and lovely family.
I have completed B.COM from IGNOU. Along with that I have also done a diploma course in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel & Tourism from Frankfinn Institute of Airhostess Training, Jaipur and after finishing up my training, I got an opportunity to work with The Oberoi. I joined The Oberoi's Trident, Jaipur as an Assistant to General Manager. I learnt a lot about Hotel culture and enhanced my career skills working with The Oberoi. Due to my hectic and busy working schedule, I was not able to complete my study. Thus, I left my job and finally decided to complete my graduation. I joined Frankfinn in the middle of my study and then I joined The oberoi and because of all these, my graduation was on hold. Hence, I moved back to Katihar. Gave my papers and completed my Graduation. After completing my Graduation, I was looking forward to pursue my MBA in HR. Hence, I decide to go to Bangalore, since my brother was already staying there. As I was working earlier so it was quite difficult for me to just sit at home and study. So, I started looking for a job and was quite fortunate in this. Very soon I got an opportunity to work with a reputed company, John Distilleries Ltd. I joined JDL as an Executive Assistant to Vice-Chairman & CEO. Later, I have been offered promotion along with transfer to Mumbai. However, it was quite difficult for me to relocate from Bangalore. Hence, I decided to quit the job and to look for a better opportunity where, I would be able to enhance my skills along with a good working experience.
I believe, with your desire, determination and positive believing you can get that opportunity which you have been looking for. Opportunity is not small or big. However, to make the opportunity bigger or small depends on you. With your commitment and hard work you can make the opportunity bigger. I also received an opportunity, where I could get a good exposure while developing my skills yet further. Hence, I decided to grab the opportunity to work with Bharti Airtel Ltd. as an Executive Assistant to COO. Surely it was an exciting development in my career and I wanted to make use of my experience.
As far as my social and personal behavior, my friends call me a good speaker and listener too. I am a caring, honest and jovial person. Have positive attitude towards life and always try to mould myself according to the situation but never compromise with my dignity and values. I always try to be a support for my loved ones. I respect my culture and values but also have modern views towards my lifestyle. I believe in positivity. I believe, whatever happens in life, whether it is good or bad, we should take it positively. As I have a strong faith on God, so I believe, if god fails to solve your problem that means he has faith on you that you are capable to solve the problem by yourself. So never complain to him. Whatever he gives that is a blessing for us. If we have difficulties in life, that means God has given us a chance to learn how to come out from it. And one more thing, which I believe strongly. "Never expect more from others. The more you expect, the more you will distress, if you don't get that. And if you expect less and get more that could be the happiest moment". Try this and for sure you will like this concept.
Learning is a treasure which will never get finish. We always learn from the situations. Sometimes I think why we always bother for problems. Usually we pray to god that never gives any problem in our life. However, I believe we should be thanking to him because he has given a chance to learn something new in life. We’ll be stronger by facing the problem. If you strongly believe in one thing that “Solution lies in the problem itself” then you will never be afraid. Whenever a problem comes to you, don’t ever be bother for the problem. Just give your efforts and energy to look for the solution. If we really follow these positively in our life then life will be so easy and beautiful.
I always try to live my life happily. Every person gets some sorrow in life, even I am also not an exception. But its all about your perception. I always try to search positivity in every situation, either good or bad. Sometimes, we do lots of effort to get something but not get succeed. What is that mean from a general perception? It means that there was some mistake in our effort or the efforts were less. But if I will look from my perception then the effort was right enough but the main thing is, that we are suppose to get something more good then this or we’ve got a chance to do more efforts. And more effort means more learning.
We get lots of relations by birth. Father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt and many more. Most likely we are always attached with our family and of course we should be. I’m also very attached to my family even I can do anything for them. Usually our parents make us understand for every relation. But in life there is one relation which we create and we call them “FRIENDS”. Yes friends, our chosen family. They are the persons with whom we share every secrets of our life and we know that secrets will remain secrets only. We play, we laugh and we fight but always are together. Friends are really precious. Its very tough to get true friends in life. So whenever you feel that you have found your true mate, never let him/her go away.
Everybody get interacts with lots of people in day to day life. Sometimes they remain a good friend and sometimes just a person whom we know and nothing else. But sometimes we find somebody who is stranger to us but later somehow we feel that now we are not strangers anymore for each other. And then we realize that we can understand each other’s feeling without saying. And that’s called friends. A true friend can understand your feelings, your emotions and be with you in all ups and down in your life. I do have lots of friends in my life but I can say I do have a very special friend in my life whom I haven’t met and we haven’t spoken over the phone. Since last three years we know each other. We usually chat through internet. A girl who is very sweet, very honest, very kind and a very emotional person, I have ever seen. And she is my friend “Momal Ali”. Yes, she is a Muslim girl and one more thing she is not an Indian girl. She is from Pakistan. Though, these things never come between our relationships. We both are precious to each other. I call her Momu. We chat regularly, share our thoughts, crack jokes and spend a great time together. And we just pray that once in a life time we would able to meet. Recently, she has got engaged with a very nice and handsome boy. She is very happy these days and I pray to god to bless her with all the happiness and prosperity. She is really my true mate. I can say she was with me when I was really in a critical situation and that time I really needed an emotional support. She is my friend cum sister. I really don’t have words to express my feelings for her. I’m really very lucky that I have been blessed with such a sweet and nice friend. “Momu, you have acquired a big place in my heart and you will always remain a good friend of mine.”
I believe that God has given life to enjoy everything. We should enjoy every moment of our life. To find happiness and joy depends on you. True and lasting happiness will come into our life the day we get clear realization that we can overcome from any weakness. Actually happiness is a state of mind. We will be happy when we desire to be happy, though the situation is up to our expectations or not. You cannot buy happiness with all the money in the world. The kingdom of happiness is in your own thoughts and feelings. Some people find these concepts not so effectible. But that is there perception and we can not force anybody to change their perception about life. However, I strongly believe on these things and always try to find happiness for my family, for my friends, for my loved ones and especially for myself.
Here, I would like to share the beginning phase of my career. As I said, I started my career with The Oberoi’s Trident, Jaipur as an Assistant to General Manager and it was a pleasure to start my career with a highly standard organization. I was so excited that time because I was the first one in my Frankfinn batch who got placed somewhere before completing the training. My faculties were so impressed with me. Actually, I went Trident for the position of Front Office Assistant. However, they found me good in secretarial work as my computer and internet sills were good. Hence, they offered me this position and I accepted that great opportunity. I worked under a great, efficient and kind boss Mr. Karan Berry, who was the General Manager at Trident. He is a wonderful person and I think it was a great experience to work under his guidance. I learnt a great deal under him, as he was not only passionate to his work, but also extremely enthusiastic. When I joined Trident, I was just a fresher and was not comfortable with the work culture. In some of my early assignments, while Mr. Berry remained aware of the imminent failure of my experiments, still he allowed me to fail and then came on to encourage me suggesting that one failed attempt teaches you more than five successful attempt. At my first job, I learnt a lot and part of my learning came from the environment created by my boss where promptness, efficiency and passion to work were more important. I was very attached to him and with his family. My work place was like my second home and even today, I very fondly remember working in such a great team. I never felt dejected in my first job and I had a great and unforgettable time in Trident.
As far as I think, for a person four things are important. Family, friends, career and last but not least is to get true love in his/her life. Getting a real soul mate is a big achievement. Because he/she is the only person with whom you will spend rest of your life holding the hand and sharing your feelings. Honesty, sincerity, kindness and integrity are all aspects of love and marriage. The most excited stage of your life is to be getting married. Why excited because when you get married then everything comes new in your life. New family, new relations, new circumstances and new responsibilities as well. You can’t find a person, who is just perfect as you were expecting. Hence, some compromises and some adjustments need to have a happy married life. As I red somewhere, “You need to do adjustment when somebody wants to be with you and you need to do compromise when you want to be with someone”. We can not control all the events that happen in our lives, but we can control how we deal with them. Since childhood, I keep on listening that “Marriages made in heaven”. So we don’t have any control on this. But to make the marriage successful depends on you. To have a better understanding between two people makes everything possible and easy. Why I can say because so far I have seen this in my family itself. I think my mom-dad is a best example of this. They love each other very honestly and the understanding which they have for each other that is tremendous. Whenever they had difficulties in life, they faced it together sharing all the responsibilities. I can say they are both strengths and weakness to each other. An ideal couple, who understands each other and make their life beautiful with love and joy. It seems, they have made for each other and I really feel great to see the love and passion, which they have for each other.
